Gov Yusuf Welcomes Separated Conjoined Twins Home After Saudi Surgery

Governor Yusuf welcomes back separated conjoined twins after successful surgery in Saudi Arabia. The twins underwent a complex separation procedure at King Abdullah Specialist Children Hospital in Riyadh, involving a team of 38 specialists across various medical fields.

The surgery, which lasted 14 hours and unfolded in nine stages, was a challenging yet rewarding achievement. The twins, Hassana and Husaina, were joined at the lower abdomen, pelvis, and spine, making the case particularly intricate.

The delegation from Saudi Arabia received a warm reception at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport upon their return to Nigeria.
