Kano Conjoined Twins Return Home After Successful Surgery in Saudi Arabia

Conjoined twins Hassana and Husaina from Kano returned to Nigeria after successful separation surgery in Saudi Arabia. The twins, who were joined at the lower abdomen, pelvis, and spine, underwent the operation at King Abdullah Specialist Children Hospital in Riyadh.

They received a warm reception at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, accompanied by Governor Abba Yusuf and other officials. The Consul General of Saudi Arabia praised the operation as a testament to the Kingdom's commitment to humanitarian service.

The surgery, performed by a multidisciplinary team, was meticulously planned and executed over a month.
