NNPP Chairman Criticizes Gov Yusuf's Defection Plan, Warns Against Betrayal

The Chairman of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) in Kano State revealed that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's plan to defect to the Progressives Congress has not received party approval. The NNPP Chairman, Dungurawa, emphasized that the leadership rejects the move and urged members to remain committed to the party's ideals.

He warned that abandoning the party would amount to betraying the trust of the masses. Efforts are being made to dissuade individuals involved in the defection plan from reconsidering their decision.
