ADC Rejects INEC's Ruling on Leadership Crisis

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly rejected the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) interpretation of a recent appeal court ruling concerning the party's leadership crisis. Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC's National Public Secretary, accused INEC of being influenced by external forces and stated that the commission's decision does not accurately reflect the court's ruling.

Abdullahi described INEC's position as confusing and contradictory, asserting that it does not align with the facts of the case. The ADC's criticism follows INEC's controversial move to delist the names of prominent party members, including Senator David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola, from its official portal.

Abdullahi indicated that the ADC is considering further actions and will consult internally before making a public statement. He urged party members and Nigerians to remain steadfast as the situation develops, emphasizing the need for fair and independent handling of political matters.
