Governor Fubara Reaffirms Loyalty to APC Amid Rumors

Governor Fubara of River State dismissed reports suggesting his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC), labeling the claims as false and misleading. He made this clarification on Wednesday while inspecting the newly reconstructed River State Psychiatric Hospital, which is being upgraded to convert it into a general hospital.

Fubara urged the public to disregard the rumors and emphasized his commitment to the APC. He explained that the hospital upgrade is necessary due to poor access to healthcare services in the area, which previously required residents to travel long distances for medical attention to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, the nearest major referral center.

Fubara described the completion of the project as fulfilling his administration's promise and demonstrating a commitment to improving healthcare delivery for the overall residents of River State.
