Enugu Governor Presents N1.62 Trillion Budget for 2026 Fiscal Year

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State presented a N1.62 trillion budget for 2026 to the Enugu State House of Assembly, representing a 66.5% increase from the previous year. The budget is aimed at consolidating progress made in the past two years, with a significant allocation for economic sectors like infrastructure, agriculture, and industry.

The budget also prioritizes social sectors such as education and healthcare. Chief Uch Ugwu commended the governor's achievements and assured full cooperation for the budget's passage.
