Soludo Celebrates Birthdays of Ex-Govs Obiano and Ngige

On August 8, 2023, Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, extended birthday greetings to former governors Willie Obiano and Dr Chris Ngige, who celebrated their 71st and 74th birthdays, respectively. In his message, Soludo praised Obiano for his impactful eight-year tenure, highlighting his progressive initiatives and infrastructural investments that contributed to Anambra's development.

Soludo referred to Obiano as a "worthy son of Anambra" deserving of celebration. Regarding Ngige, who previously served as a senator for Anambra Central District and as the Minister of Labour and Employment under late President Muhammadu Buhari, Soludo acknowledged his emphasis on discipline in public administration and his contributions during a challenging political period.

The Chief Press Secretary to Soludo, Mr Christian Aburime, conveyed the governor's wishes for both former governors, hoping for their continued good health and blessings in the years ahead.
