Nigerian Governors Pledge Safe Yuletide and Receive World Bank Support

The Nigerian Governors' Forum (NGF) issued a communiqué after their eighth meeting in Abuja, chaired by Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and attended by Governor Dapo Abiodun. The governors committed to enhancing security during the festive season, adopting proactive measures, and ensuring visible security presence in identified hotspots nationwide.

They also received confirmation of additional financial support from the World Bank for Nigeria's economic stimulus programs. The forum aims to guarantee a safe and peaceful holiday season for Nigerians through inter-agency coordination and support for livelihood and infrastructure initiatives.
