Adebayo Critiques Tinubu Over Anguwan Rukuba Attack

Adebayo, a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and former presidential candidate, criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration for its inadequate response to security challenges in Nigeria. His remarks followed a tragic attack in Anguwan Rukuba, where at least 29 people were reportedly killed on a Sunday night.

Adebayo lamented the scale of violence in the country, describing the persistent killings and property destruction as evidence of leadership failure. He noted that several others were injured in the attack, which has exacerbated the humanitarian situation affecting the community.

Adebayo insisted that the federal government has the capability to tackle insecurity if there is genuine commitment to do so. He expressed sympathy for the victims and urged the residents of Anguwan Rukuba to remain vigilant despite the challenges.

Adebayo called on the authorities to take concrete and immediate steps to restore safety and prevent recurring attacks, emphasizing that Nigerians expect practical measures to guarantee the protection of lives and property.
