Group Alleges Political Interference in Ekiti State Governorship Election List

In Ekiti State, the Ekiti Liber Agenda group has accused political interference in the exclusion of PDP's governorship candidate, Dr. Wole Oluyede, from INEC's official list for the upcoming 2026 election.

The group, represented by Motun Fajuyi, alleges that Oluyede's omission was intentional to hinder his participation. Concerns have been raised over the lack of formal explanation for this exclusion despite Oluyede's emergence from a free and fair primary election.

The group also highlights unresolved grievances within the APC governorship primary, where aspirants like Kayode Ojo and Abimbola Olajumok were reportedly disqualified without clear reasons. The group advocates for fair political processes and urges immediate action to restore Oluyede's candidacy.
