Unique Fellows Forum in Awka Expands Support for Vulnerable

The Unique Fellows All Nations Forum, based in Awka, has committed to increasing its support for vulnerable residents in Anambra State. Kingsley Ezeibe, the Chairman of the inauguration planning committee and immediate past deputy mayor, announced this during a pre-installation event for the new mayor, Gabriel Muoneke, who was elected unopposed in February as the forum’s seventh Mayor.
Muoneke will be formally inaugurated along with other executive members on October 3, 2026. Ezeibe revealed that the forum has disbursed N10 million to vulnerable residents between 2023 and 2026 as part of its socioeconomic interventions, focusing on improving the living standards of widows, elderly citizens, orphans, persons with disabilities, inmates, petty traders, artisans, technicians, and other underprivileged individuals.
Muoneke pledged to implement people-oriented programs that would benefit Awka and surrounding communities, aiming to enhance the forum’s existing humanitarian activities and achieve greater community impact.
