Anambra Youth Honor Jideofor Okongwu for Community Service

The Anambra State Town Unions Council (ASTUC) Youth Wing honored Jideofor Okongwu, a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Anaocha branch, along with 11 other distinguished individuals from the Anaocha Local Government Area. They received the ‘Anambra Community Role Model awards’ for their significant contributions to community development and youth empowerment.

The awardees included Romanus Ibekwe, Chairman of the Anaocha LGA; Chukwudi Oli, APGA House of Reps candidate; and Osita Kingsley Ozalagba, Pioneer President General of ASTUC Youth, among others. The ceremony took place at the Neni Civic Centre on Sunday.

Okongwu emphasized the importance of discipline, resilience, and hard work for youth development. Ken Okoli, President General of ASTUC Youth Wing, stated that the group's agenda aligns with the administration of Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, focusing on values and responsible citizenship as essential for building a better future for Anambra.
