Rallies Planned to Thank Tinubu for Security Progress

The Good Governance Advocates Without Borders has announced plans for a series of non-partisan rallies in major Nigerian cities, including Abuja and Lagos, to express gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his administration's efforts in enhancing national security. Scheduled to draw participants from various backgrounds, the rallies aim to foster national unity and support for security initiatives.

Charles Abakpa Onoja, the convener, noted the positive impact of the President’s security policies, which have reportedly reduced banditry and insurgency. He highlighted military successes under Tinubu's leadership, including the neutralization of high-profile terrorist commanders and the rescue of hostages in the Northeast.

The rallies will feature testimonies from communities benefiting from improved safety and will showcase military operations that have reclaimed territories from insurgents. The initiative, termed "Thank You Asiwaju on Security," emphasizes the collective responsibility for security and aims to boost public confidence and economic stability.
