Group raises alarm over imminent takeover of Plateau by terrorists

The Bokkos Cultural Development Forum (BCDF) Vanguard has raised concerns about the imminent takeover of Plateau State by Fulani militia terrorists. The group highlighted a sustained wave of attacks in Bokkos, Mangu, Riyom, and Bassa over the past four months, indicating a clear agenda to conquer the state.

The BCDF Vanguard expressed grave concerns over the terrorists freely roaming conquered communities, shooting at anyone in sight, including security personnel. The group reported that at least two people were killed and 15 critically injured in recent violent attacks targeting Mushere district, with ten villages now deserted due to looting and destruction by terrorists.

The BCDF Vanguard called on the government and security agencies to be proactive in preventing the terrorists from overrunning the state and establishing safer camps. They also urged Governor Caleb Mutfwang to take action to protect the remaining residents and prevent further ethnic displacement in Plateau State.
