Nnewi Charity Foundation Supports Elderly with N1 Million

The Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation distributed N1 million to elderly persons in Nnewi, with a total of forty beneficiaries receiving N20,000 each. The initiative took place in the four quarters of Nnewi, specifically in Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim, and Nnewichi.

Mr. Izunna Chukwuma, a front-line member of the foundation, highlighted the need for affluent individuals to positively impact society, particularly for the elderly who are often vulnerable.

He acknowledged the contributions of Chief Nichola Echezona Nsoedo, the CEO of the foundation, and noted that the philanthropic efforts began long ago, referencing past beneficiaries in South Africa. Mr.

Grace Maduka was also mentioned for his contributions. The initiative aims to provide annual support to the elderly, emphasizing gratitude and the importance of community support.
