Group Advocates for Action Against Femicide in Nigeria

Ololad Ajayi, the founder of a foundation, made a statement available on Saturday regarding a new initiative aimed at combating femicide in Nigeria. This initiative is in collaboration with TSM House Agency, which focuses on technology-driven advocacy against sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV).

Ajayi emphasized the importance of leveraging technology and media to create awareness and support for survivors. The initiative includes redesigning the Department of Health's website to improve user experience and developing a dashboard to track and report SGBV and femicide cases.

The partnership aims to strengthen digital infrastructure and expand awareness campaigns, enhancing tools to respond to these cases effectively. Ajayi noted that the initiative is not solely about technology but also about amplifying voices and ensuring that women and girls have access to the necessary tools and support to stay safe and seek justice.
