GTBank Named Best Overall Performing Bank in Nigeria

Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd has achieved global recognition as the best overall performing bank in Nigeria according to Banker Magazine's top 1000 world bank ranking for 2026. This accolade was announced in a statement on Tuesday.

Managing Director Miriam Olusanya expressed immense gratitude to the bank's internal and external stakeholders, noting that the recognition reflects collective efforts. She emphasized that the accolade means a great deal to the bank, representing not just prestige but also the hard work of its people and the loyalty of its customers.

Olusanya attributed the top ranking to the bank's efficient and sound management practices, which are a result of its structured internal policies and collaborative relationships with its parent company, Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc. The assessment of the bank's performance was based on critical metrics, including financial strength, operational efficiency, risk management, liquidity, and profit growth.
