Guinness World Records Confirms Largest Afrobeats Orchestra

Guinness World Records officially recognized a concert organized by Dapper Live Artist as the largest Afrobeats orchestra, featuring 85 musicians. This record-setting event took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 16, 2025.

The concert showcased a unique orchestral performance that blended contemporary African music with classical arrangements, demonstrating the versatility of Nigerian music on a global stage. Notable artists such as Fuji star King Saheed Osupa and Malaika performed alongside several other Afrobeats artists, including T Blaze, Rybeena, Bhadboi OML, Kashcom, TML, Vibez, Lasmid, Hei Cazule, and Dwillsharmoni.

The event was directed by a conductor and featured a lead singer, choir, and dancers, creating an innovative entertainment experience. Dapper Live Artist, led by music executive Damilola Akinwunmi, aimed to showcase Afrobeats in a new format beyond conventional live concerts.

This achievement adds to Nigeria's growing list of milestones recognized by Guinness World Records, further highlighting the global appeal of Afrobeats.
