This milestone was officially confirmed on September 26, when over 51,000 people gathered at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos to watch their crime thriller, "Black Market." In a statement released on September 28, Tinubu praised the filmmakers for their creativity, ambition, and entrepreneurial spirit, emphasizing the importance of Nigeria's creative sector in showcasing the nation's culture globally.

He noted the economic significance of this achievement, highlighting how the creative economy contributes to business growth, job creation, and market expansion for local talent. Tinubu reaffirmed his administration's commitment to fostering an environment where young Nigerians can transform their talents into sustainable enterprises and extended his congratulations to the entire production team of "Black Market.".
