Gunmen Kill 20 in Kebbi Community Attack

At least 20 people were killed in a deadly attack by gunmen in Fesken Rafi Community, located in Arewa Local Government Area of Kebbi State. The Kebbi State Government expressed profound sorrow over the incident, describing it as tragic.

A high-powered delegation, led by Deputy Governor Senator Umar Tafida, visited the affected community on Saturday to extend condolences to the victims' families and assure residents of the government's commitment to addressing insecurity and protecting lives and property across the state. During the visit, the delegation included local leaders such as Sani Tela, chairman of Arewa Local Government Area, and Nuradeen Kangiwa, a member of the Kebbi State House of Assembly.

The attack occurred a few days prior and resulted in significant loss of life. Traditional leaders, including Alhaji Kabiru Sulaiman and Alhaji Sama Ila Muhammad, appealed for improved infrastructure, such as road links, to enhance security and facilitate economic activities in the region.
