Gusau Elected ADC Chairman in Zamfara State Consensus Vote

Alhaji Kabiru Garba Gusau has emerged as the new state chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara State following a consensus election held on Monday. Alongside Gusau, Kabiru Aliyu Bakura was elected as vice chairman, Sanusi Falalu as secretary, Abdullahi Dahiru as auditor, and Ganiya Sani as the women leader, with Abdulkarim Umar serving as the public secretary.

In his acceptance speech, Gusau expressed gratitude to the party delegates and elders for their trust in him. He emphasized that the consensus option adopted was aimed at promoting unity within the party and reducing internal friction.

Gusau also pledged to run an open and inclusive administration, positioning the ADC as a strong political force in Zamfara and opening doors for genuine development ahead of the 2027 general elections.
