HAI Launches Campaign for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

The Hope Alive Initiative (HAI) unveiled the first phase of its grassroots campaign on August 19, 2023, in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election for the 2027 presidential election. This initiative coincides with the start of the 2027 election campaign season and aims to combine street-level mobilization with traditional and digital media platforms.

HAI's campaign will include human mascots, a city-wide SMS campaign, a weekly Pidgin-language radio program titled “Wetin Tinubu Don Do Sef,” and an original campaign jingle. HAI, through its Director of Press and Communications, Ernest Omoarelojie, stated that its support for Tinubu is based on the administration's reforms in various sectors, including the petroleum sector, foreign exchange stability, local government autonomy, police reforms, and infrastructure projects.

The campaign's opening phase will feature approximately 40 human mascots deployed at strategic locations in Abuja to enhance public visibility and engagement.
