Fidelity Bank Launches HerFidel Apprenticeship Program 2.0

Fidelity Bank PLC announced the launch of the second edition of its flagship women empowerment initiative, the HerFidel Apprenticeship Program 2.0 (HAP 2.0), designed to equip women with practical income-generating skills and structured pathways to entrepreneurship. The inauguration of this edition took place in 2023, where Osita Ed, the Division Head of Product Development at Fidelity Bank PLC, explained that the initiative aims to enhance the delivery of greater impact based on feedback from the first edition.

The program will provide participants with intensive apprenticeship training from industry experts across various fields, including hairstyling, shoemaking, auto-mechatronics, and interior decoration. HAP 2.0 goes beyond skill acquisition by offering a wide range of business advisory services, including financial literacy training and mentorship support throughout the apprenticeship journey.

The program aligns with Fidelity Bank's vision to position women as future innovators and economic contributors within their communities.
