Philip Aduda Resigns from PDP, Set to Join APC

Philip Aduda, a former senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has officially resigned from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and is preparing to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). His resignation was attributed to ongoing crises within the PDP.

Aduda's decision comes shortly after the recent FCT council elections, where the APC won five out of six local government areas, while the PDP managed to secure victory in Gwagwalada. Following his resignation, Aduda was reported to have arrived at the APC office in Abuja, accompanied by newly elected chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon.

Joshua Ishakwu, and his counterpart from Kuje Area Council, Hon. Danjuma Shekwkolo.

Aduda's move is seen as part of a broader strategy to align with the APC, which is currently working on its national committee.
