Harry Kane Reaches 500 Goals as Bayern Munich Wins

On February 14, Harry Kane achieved a significant milestone by scoring his 500th senior career goal during Bayern Munich's match against Werder Bremen. Kane, aged 32, scored twice, including a penalty in the 22nd minute after a lengthy VAR review determined that Senn Lynen fouled Lennart Karl inside the box.

This was Kane's ninth penalty of the season. Just three minutes later, he scored again with a precise shot from the edge of the box, marking his 41st goal in competitive matches this season.

Bayern Munich's victory restored their six-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga, maintaining their position ahead of Borussia Dortmund, who won 4-0 against Mainz. The match was not without concern, as Bayern's captain Manuel Neuer was substituted due to a calf injury, replaced by Jona Urbig.

Despite this, Bayern's rhythm remained intact, and Leon Goretzka secured the win with a low drive into the bottom corner. Bayern's next match is against Eintracht Frankfurt on February 22.
