Hayatu-Deen Won't Challenge ADC Primary Results

Moham Hayatu-Deen, a presidential aspirant from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated he will not contest the results of the ADC presidential primary held on May 25. He expressed concerns regarding the electoral process, citing issues such as vote rigging and interference by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Despite his disappointment, Hayatu-Deen emphasized the importance of a strong, credible opposition in Nigeria and decided against pursuing legal action. He thanked his supporters across the country for their efforts during the campaign and urged Nigerians not to accept dysfunction as normal.

Hayatu-Deen's campaign was characterized as a movement inspired by Nigeria's silent majority, and he called for unity within the party to build a fairer and more prosperous nation. He expressed gratitude for the support received from various groups, including youth and women, and encouraged continued belief in the possibility of a better Nigeria.
