HBM Nigeria Achieves N928bn Revenue Growth in 2026

HBM Nigeria Plc recorded a revenue of N928 billion for the nine months ending September 30, 2026, marking a 19% increase driven by volume growth, operational stability, and improved distribution efficiency. The company reported an operating profit of N383 billion, a 28% rise, with the operating margin increasing to 41% from 38% in 2025.
Profit after tax reached N272 billion, reflecting a 31% growth year-on-year. Lolu Alade-Akinyemi, the GMD/CEO of HBM Nigeria, stated that the performance indicates the company is on track to meet its full-year objectives.
However, third-quarter results showed a decline in net sales to N250 billion and profit after tax to N64 billion, down 5% and 15% respectively compared to Q3 2025, due to planned maintenance at existing plants. Alade-Akinyemi noted that maintenance would enhance reliability and capacity utilization, with expansion projects in Sagamu and Ashaka expected to be completed in Q1 2027.
