HCSF Engages Mid-Level Officers for Civil Service Reform

Mr. Olumuyiwa Enitan Abel, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), engaged officers on Grade Levels 8–14 in a session aimed at reinforcing their roles in the ongoing Civil Service reforms. He urged these officers to take ownership of the reforms, enhance their professional capacity, and contribute to improved citizen-centered service delivery.

Abel highlighted the critical position these officers hold in translating government policies into effective action and results. He stressed the importance of continuous learning and self-development, encouraging officers to pursue mastery in their responsibilities.

Dr. Danjuma Usman Kalba, the Permanent Secretary of the Common Service Office, praised the HCSF for facilitating direct interaction with the officers, which fostered collaboration and a stronger Civil Service. The engagement served as a platform for open dialogue, allowing officers to raise issues and share perspectives on their work and growth within the Service.
