Wike Praises Tinubu for Quick Assent to Electoral Act

Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory Minister, commended President Bola Tinubu for his swift assent to the Electoral Act Amendment Bill, which is set to take effect in 2026. In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, Wike noted that the president's prompt action demonstrated effective political will, ensuring rapid passage of the bill through the National Assembly and immediate presidential assent.
