Bashir Ahmad Criticizes U.S. Congressman Over Bias Claims in Benue IDP Camp Visit

Bashir Ahmad, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), criticized U.S. Congressman Riley Moore for alleged bias in his claims about Christian IDPs in Benue State.

Moore, part of a U.S. Congressional delegation investigating Christian genocide allegations in Nigeria, visited an IDP camp in Benue State and reported on the displacement of 600,000 Christians due to attacks by Islamic extremists.

Ahmad accused Moore of bias for not visiting Muslim IDPs in the state. The incident highlights political tensions and international scrutiny over the treatment of displaced persons in Nigeria.
