Peter Obi's Aide Confident Despite Labour Party's Anambra Election Loss

Peter Obi's media aide, Yunusa Tanko, responded to the Labour Party's poor performance in the Anambra governorship elections, where incumbent Governor Charles Soludo secured a significant lead. Tanko expressed optimism that Obi would still emerge victorious despite the setback.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the total votes collated across Anambra State, with Soludo leading and Ukachukwu of the APC as his closest rival. Other candidates, including Paul Chukwuma of the Young Progressives Party and Georg Moghalu of the Labour Party, trailed behind.

Tanko made these remarks during a television interview on Arise TV.
