Fire Incident at Federal Secretariat in Abuja: Update

A fire broke out early Monday morning at the Federal Secretariat complex, specifically affecting the 4th floor of Block C, which houses the National Board for Technology Incubation. Mr.

Eno Olotu, Director of Press and Public Relations at the Office of the Head of Civil Service, issued a statement confirming that emergency protocols were activated immediately upon detection of the fire. The Federal Fire Service and the Emergency Response Agency responded swiftly to contain the fire and prevent its spread.

Fortunately, there were no casualties, and all staff members on the affected floor were safely evacuated without injury. The Head of Civil Service, Mr.

Didi Esther Walson Jack, conducted a site assessment and commended the Federal Fire Service for their prompt action. A comprehensive investigation has been ordered to determine the cause of the fire and to implement necessary precautionary measures to secure the area and assess structural integrity.
