Head of Service Commends Justice Ministry for Reforms

On Thursday, Mr. Madona Olatunji, the Director of Performance Management at the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, praised the Federal Ministry of Justice for its ongoing commitment to reforms and innovations aimed at enhancing the justice system.

His commendation was delivered during a performance management system retreat, which focused on delivering effective and efficient service. Olatunji highlighted the increasing public expectations for transparency and accountability within public institutions, particularly in the justice sector.

He noted the pivotal role of the ministry in upholding the rule of law and protecting citizens' rights, which in turn strengthens investor confidence. Olatunji urged the ministry to continue championing performance improvements and emphasized the need for a shift from routine processes to outcome-driven approaches in public service.

Additionally, Mr. Beatrice Jedi Agba, the Solicitor General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, assured that the ministry would continue to engage with various stakeholders to expand its capacity, advocating for the mandatory use of digital tools in service delivery.
