Tinubu Condemns Killings in Plateau and Kaduna Attacks

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu condemned the recent attacks in Plateau and Kaduna, specifically referring to the incident in Angwan Rukuba district and the attack in Kahir village, Kagarko local government area. In a statement made on Tuesday by his special adviser, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the attacks as barbaric and cowardly, emphasizing that they affront Nigeria's stance on security.

He assured Nigerians that these acts will not go unpunished and directed security agencies to intensify their efforts in pursuing the perpetrators. Tinubu also cautioned sections of the media against spreading misinformation that could inflame tensions and further endanger lives.

He reaffirmed the commitment of security agencies to address the situation and stressed the importance of public cooperation in maintaining peace and protecting lives and property. Additionally, he highlighted the need for communities to comply with evacuation and relocation advice to ensure safety, particularly for the two victims from Kaduna.
