Governor Wike Warns Rivers State Government Over Stadium Ban

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has strongly criticized the state government for denying approval for a political rally at Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt. Wike accused the government of blocking the rally without justification, describing the decision as unfair and unacceptable.

He emphasized that public facilities belong to the people and should not be used as tools for political exclusion. Wike warned that if approvals are not granted in the future, he will break force to ensure the event takes place.

The governor openly challenged the state government to reconsider its decision and allow the rally to proceed, asserting that enough is enough.
