Bandits Kill Five, Kidnap Six in Sokoto Village Attack

Heavily armed bandits attacked Gatawa village in Sokoto State, killing five people and kidnapping six individuals, including women and children. The attack resulted in injuries to several residents, with two sustaining gunshot wounds and being taken to the hospital.

Livestock was also rustled during the incident. Security agents engaged the bandits in a gunfight upon arrival, but none of the abducted persons were rescued.

The community is left in shock and fear following the violent attack.
