Bandits Kill Village Head and Two Others in Sokoto Attack

In a tragic incident, bandits attacked a village in Sokoto, killing three residents, including the village head Hussaini Alhaji Yawal Huruna and Alhaji Zuguru. The attackers abducted several villagers, including a retired headmaster named Malam Abdullahi, and rustled 40 cattle.

The community, caught off guard by the breach of their perimeter fence, mourned the loss of prominent members. The Sokoto State Police Command's response to the incident was reportedly unsuccessful, highlighting the ongoing security challenges in the region.
