Helios Invests €100M in Nigerian Glass Packaging Business

Helios Invest Partners has agreed to purchase Frigoglass Group's Nigerian glass packaging business, including Beta Glass PLC, for up to €100 million. The deal involves the sale of Frigoinvest Nigeria Holdings BV's entire stake in Beta Glass PLC and Frigoglass Industri Nigeria Ltd.

The transaction, subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026. Frigoglass recently underwent a three-year business overhaul, leading to improved performance and attracting interest from domestic and international buyers.

Beta Glass's CEO, Alex Gendi, highlighted the growth potential and strong business performance. Frigoglass will support Beta Glass during the transition period.
