Hezbollah Drones Strike Northern Israel, Retaliation Planned

On Sunday, Hezbollah launched two drones that struck northern Israel, with no reported casualties. The drones impacted areas near the Israel-Lebanon border.

In response to the attack, Israeli ministers, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, called for retaliatory actions against Hezbollah's stronghold in Dahiyeh, a southern suburb of Beirut. Defense Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that every drone or missile launched would be met with a decisive response.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that every violation would be addressed firmly. The Israeli government has previously warned that it would target Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran, in response to threats against northern Israeli communities.

The situation reflects ongoing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, with the latter being a significant military group based in Lebanon.
