Highlife Legends Concert and Awards Set for 2026

World Icon Enter10 has unveiled plans for the second edition of the Highlife Legendary Concert and Awards, set to take place on August 9, 2026, at the EUI Event Centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The event, which will commence with a red carpet at 4 PM followed by the main ceremony at 5 PM, is charity-driven and aims to honor the contributions of highlife musicians to African music.

It will recognize legends such as Oliv De Coqu, Victor Olaiya, and Mr. Lawrenc Obusi, while also promoting contemporary artists like Kcee and Peter.

The ceremony will be hosted by Obi Ivi and Chido, with performances from comedians and special appearances by businessman E Monei, who will discuss the vision behind the initiative. Dr.

Barnaba Nwagbo emphasized the importance of preserving Nigeria's highlife heritage and encouraging younger musicians to embrace the genre. The event aims to stimulate economic activity and provide support to the families of music legends, ensuring the legacy of highlife music continues to thrive.
