Chidiebere Declares Candidacy for Ebonyi Assembly Seat

Hon. Chidiebere Akah Excel Chidieber formally declared his intention to contest for the position of member representing Ohaukwu South in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly on April 12, 2026. In his statement, he emphasized the need to address what he described as years of neglect and underrepresentation in the constituency.

Chidieber's decision followed careful observation and wide consultation, reflecting the current realities faced by the people. He expressed a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to progress, aiming to restore fair and inclusive development across the constituency.

He outlined priorities including effective lawmaking, grassroots development, youth empowerment, and improvements in education and healthcare. Chidieber particularly highlighted concerns from Umuagara Amechi Ward, which he claimed has been sidelined politically since 1999.

He called for unity among stakeholders, including youth, women, traditional leaders, and elders, to support his candidacy and ensure balanced representation moving forward.
