Honeywell Group Invests in Education for Nigeria's Future

Honeywell Group, under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Oba Otudeko, is prioritizing education as a long-term strategy to bolster Nigeria's economic resilience.

With two million young Nigerians seeking university admission annually, the group aims to address the structural gaps in the higher education system. The Honeywell Foundation, established in 2003, supports projects that enhance infrastructure and entrepreneurship education.

The foundation's initiatives include the Honeywell Auditorium at Lagos Business School, which serves as a hub for executive education and entrepreneurship initiatives. The foundation also focuses on improving administrative efficiency within universities, exemplified by the development of a 2,400 square meter administrative complex at Olabisi Onabanjo University.

This complex aims to enhance service delivery and academic outcomes. The Honeywell Group's investment reflects a commitment to developing human capital across various sectors, emphasizing the importance of quality education in preparing graduates for a rapidly evolving job market.
