Honeywell Foundation Expands Ogun University Infrastructure

The Oba Otudeko Foundation, associated with Honeywell Group, has expanded infrastructure at Olabisi Onabanjo University by delivering a 2,400 square meter administrative complex on the university's main campus in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. This project aims to strengthen the institution's capacity to facilitate operations and house key administrative units, thereby improving coordination and service delivery across the university.

According to a statement released on Wednesday, the initiative addresses the infrastructural gap in Nigeria's higher education system, which faces rising demand for quality learning environments alongside capacity constraints. Yewand Giwa, a spokesperson for the foundation, stated that the project reflects a commitment to building institutional resilience.

Prof. Toyin Ashiru, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Olabisi Onabanjo University, noted that the new complex symbolizes a milestone in addressing long-standing infrastructural challenges.

This development is part of a broader educational investment portfolio led by Dr. Oba Otudeko, which includes the Honeywell Auditorium at the Lagos Business School.
