Hours After Reappointment, Tinubu Replaces Dankaka With Omidiran As FCC Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has appointed former House of Representatives member Ayo Hulayat Omidiran as the new Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC). Omidiran replaces Dr.

Muheeba Dankaka in this role. Tinubu also named Mohammed Musa as the Commission Secretary and retained Kayode Oladele Ogun as a commissioner.

Additionally, Tinubu appointed several new Commissioners from various states across Nigeria. The appointments include individuals such as Hon Obina Oriaku from Abia, Bema Olvadi Madayi from Adamawa, and Hon Nnoli Nkechi Gloria from Anambra, among others.

Tinubu also reappointed Abdulwasiu Kayode Bawalla as a commissioner for Lagos State. These appointments come shortly after Tinubu's reappointment as acting chairman of the Commission.
