Lawyer Alleges Abacha's Involvement in Ogoni Activists' Execution

During a lecture in Port Harcourt, lawyer and activist Falana claimed that former military President Sani Abacha was behind the framing and execution of Ogoni activists known as the Ogoni 4 and Ogoni 9 in 1995. Falana, along with late Gani Fawehinmi, defended Ken Saro-Wiwa, the MOSOP leader.

The lawyer alleged that the military tribunal frustrated attempts to present vital evidence in favor of the accused individuals. Falana also spoke about the execution of the Ogoni 9.
