Nwoko Alleges Manipulation in Delta APC Primaries

Ned Nwoko, the senator representing Delta North, accused the Delta State government of manipulating the APC primaries, asserting that the process lacked transparency and fairness. He claimed that the results were predetermined, stating that his camp possesses video evidence of the primaries, which he argues shows discrepancies in the announced results.

Nwoko specifically mentioned that while the results indicated a turnout of 5,000 votes, the video evidence depicted only three people lining up to vote in a particular ward. He rejected the outcome of the primaries, which declared Ifeanyi Okowa as the winner, and insisted that the APC national leadership contradicts the genuine mandate of party members.

Nwoko described incidents of intimidation and violence during the primaries but noted that these did not affect the overall outcome significantly. He expressed confidence that the president would intervene to review the process and emphasized his commitment to the party despite the alleged irregularities.
