JOF Nigeria U-13 Cup: Fortun FA Claims Victory in Lagos

The seventh edition of the JOF U-13 Cup took place on June 28, 2026, at a waterlogged pitch in Lagos, Nigeria. Despite challenging weather, young players showcased their skills, culminating in a goalless match between Fortun FA and Oshodi FC, which Fortun FA won 3-1 in a penalty shootout.

The tournament, organized by JOF Nigeria Limited, aimed to provide a competitive environment for youth development in football. Fortun FA received a trophy and a cash prize of 750,000 Naira, while Oshodi FC earned 500,000 Naira as runners-up.

Soccer Citi Football Academy and Ultim Football Academy secured third place, receiving 350,000 Naira and 250,000 Naira, respectively. Individual accolades included Okoroma as the highest goal scorer and Odesola Odunayo as the most valuable player.

Mr. Segun Olugboyegun, chairman of JOF Nigeria Limited, emphasized the tournament's role in shaping the future of Nigerian football and the importance of investing in grassroots sports.
