Fatal Fire in Kano Caused by Mosquito Coil Claims Family of Five

A tragic incident in Kano resulted in the death of a family of five due to a fire triggered by a mosquito coil left burning in their apartment. The victims included the Shodandi family members: father Shodandi, mother Shodandi, and their three children.

The Kano State Fire Service responded to the distress call but could not save the family. Preliminary investigations revealed that the blaze was caused by the mosquito coil left burning in the parlor while the family slept.
