Muhammad Sami Named New Emir of Zuru in Kebbi State, Traditional Succession Process

Muhammad Sami has been appointed as the new Emir of Zuru in Kebbi State, in line with the Zuru Emirate law. The appointment process involved the selection of three candidates by the kingmakers, with Sami emerging as the rightful heir to the throne.

The appointment letter was presented by the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Abubakar Garba, on behalf of Governor Nasir Idris. Sami's selection followed the criteria of being of sound mind, wisdom, and without a criminal record.

The appointment signifies a traditional transition of leadership within the Zuru Emirate.
