Air Peace Chairman and CEO, Allen Onyema, acknowledged Bola Tinubu's policies for enabling the company to slash flight prices from $13,000 to $3,000 for the Abuja-London Heathrow route. This move is seen as a significant milestone in Nigeria's aviation sector, showcasing the effectiveness of government-private sector collaboration.

Air Peace recently commenced direct flights between Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and London Heathrow Airport, with plans to operate 14 weekly flights covering Lagos-London Gatwick and Abuja-London Heathrow routes, making it the first Nigerian carrier to do so.
